- Greet VIP tour groups and other visitors and confidently provide information about Trinchero Family Estates and its products
- Conduct tours of Trinchero facilities on foot and in company vehicles
- Present and pour the wines of Trinchero Family Estates at in-house tours, special events and outside tasting events as required
- Host trade guests’ meals on occasion at TFE property or local account
- Conduct Wine & Spirits Education seminars for trade groups and TFE employees
- Coverage on weekends, tours, offsite tastings, and special events
- Support in the operations and the set-up, execution, and breakdown of Special Events
- Support tasting room operations when needed
- As needed, assist in educational programs and projects
- Work with manager to determine a meaningful project to benefit the Education department
Qualifications:
- Education: Degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred, not required
- Experience: 2 or more years experience in winery hospitality or related field preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Enthusiasm for wine and spirits, Trinchero Family Estates, and its products
- Ability to re-locate from one facility to another during one shift
- Mobility required to conduct tours of Trinchero Family Estates facilities
- Relaxed, friendly and professional demeanor
- Able to interact effectively with wide range of contacts, i.e. the public, co-workers and members of other departments
- Basic computer skills (i.e., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Wine Education Certification preferred, e.g. WSET, CSW or similar
Working Conditions:
- Regular working schedule to include weekends and holidays
- Long and irregular hours during peak seasons and/or special events
- Moderate to heavy physical work (moving wine cases and setting up for special events)
- Work site may be any one of Trinchero Family Estates’ facilities
- Standing for long periods of time (8 hours per day) & ability to lift at least 45 pounds (case of wine)
Salary Range: $22.00 - $27.00
The starting pay will be based on several factors, including but not limited to experience, training, education, and geographic location.
