Grower Relations Coordinator

Job Summary:

Maintain the Grape and Wine Tracking System (GWTS) and provide support to Grower Relations Department.


Essential Functions:

  • Administer and manage all records for Grape and Wine Tracking System, including program forecast, grape and bulk wine contracts, allocations, and wine blends.
  • Coordinate and participate in the development, testing, and implementation of subsequent phases of the raw material information system.
  • Maintain department records regarding; grape yields, quality, pricing, planting status, climate data, & cultural practices.
  • Responsible for generation of multiple harvest reports and daily delivery schedules.
  • Audit harvest delivery information and grower payment recaps.
  • Administer maintenance of off line systems with relevant information/data.
  • Maintain grower contact list.
  • Responsible for the generation of the annual Grape Crush Report to the California Department of Food and Agriculture.
  • Prepare post-harvest wine program blend sheets for all TFE brands.
  • Cross train to backup functions in the Grower Relation Department.
  • Develop reports as requested and special projects as assigned.
  • Perform general correspondence, typing, faxing, and copying as needed.
  • Work long hours and weekends during harvest.



  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Business, related field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Two or more years of directly related experience
  • Accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to follow through essential.
  • Experience in dealing with confidential materials and situations.
  • Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or the equivalent.
  • Ability to think critically and exercise discretion and independent judgement.


Working Conditions:

  • Moderate to heavy physical work
  • Work site may be any one of Trinchero Family Estates’ facilities
  • Standing for long periods of time (8 hours per day)
  • Must comply with all safety equipment requirements including ear plugs and safety glasses
  • Exposure to various chemicals in production areas
  • Exposure to machinery, forklifts and related production equipment
  • Long and irregular hours during peak periods or on various shifts
  • Extensive walking and lifting of up to 55 pounds
