Facilities Maintenance Electrician

Job Summary:

This position installs, troubleshoots, maintains and repairs electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures at the Main Street production facility as well as at satellite facilities in the Napa Valley.  The Facilitites Electrician will also work in conjunction with other Mechanics.

Essential Functions:

  • Assemble, install, test and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliance, apparatus using hand tools and power tools
  • Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem
  • Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers or other components
  • Inspect electrical systems, equipment and components to identify hazards, defects and the need for adjustment or repair and to ensure compliance with applicable codes
  • Plan layout of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures based on job specifications and applicable codes
  • Prepare sketches or follow blueprints to determine the location of wiring and equipment to ensure conformance with specifications and applicable codes.
  • Place conduit inside designated partitions, walls or other concealed areas and pull insulated wires or cables through to conduit to complete circuits.
  • Will be expected to perform other mechanical/facility duties as well
  • Construct and fabricate parts when needed by using hand and power tools
  • Work from ladders, scaffolding and boom/scissor lifts


  • Education:  High School diploma required, AA or Trade School preferred
  • Years of Experience: 4 or more years of experience ias Electrician in an industrial setting
  • Proven strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Background in fabrication, welding, electrical, plumbing, auto repair and/or other related mechanical fields preferred.
  • Problem-solving skills in mechanical and electrical areas.
  • Demonstrate a highly motivated work ethic.
  • Ability to accurately follow instructions and take direction.
  • Ability to respond to frequently changing production pressures.
  • Ability to handle numerous projects in progress at one time.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Valid California driver’s license.

Working Conditions:

  • Moderate to heavy physical work
  • Work site may be any one of Trinchero Family Estates’ facilities
  • Standing for long periods of time (8 hours per day)
  • Must comply with all safety equipment requirements including ear plugs and safety glasses
  • Exposure to various chemicals in production areas
  • Exposure to machinery, forklifts and related production equipment
  • Long and irregular hours during peak periods or on various shifts
  • Extensive walking and lifting of up to 55 pounds
