Job Summary:
The Tasting Room Representative is responsible for greeting and hosting tasting room guests. The Tasting Room representative is a passionate individual, excited about Trinchero Family Estates portfolio of wines and happy to ensure a memorable experience for our guests.
Essential Functions:

- Provide excellent customer service in all areas: welcome guests, educate and present portfolio
- Conduct tours and private tastings
- Promote the sale of wines and drive new memberships to the Wine Clubs
- Perform sales transactions using POS Systems
- Collect names and email addresses for future contact
- Stock supplies, maintain displays in retail areas
Qualifications:
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent required
- Experience: 2 or more years’ experience in winery hospitality selling wine products or related field preferred
- Strong professional customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Enthusiasm for wine in general and Trinchero Family Estates and its products in particular
- Experience with register/POS systems preferred
- Relaxed, friendly and professional demeanor
- Able to interact effectively with wide range of contacts, i.e. the public, co-workers and members of other departments
- Strong analytical and math skills
Working Conditions:
- Regular working schedule to include weekends and holidays
- Long and irregular hours during peak seasons and/or special events
- Moderate to heavy physical work (moving wine cases and retail supplies, setting up for special events)
- Work site may be any one of Trinchero Family Estates’ facilities
- Standing for long periods of time (8 hours per day)
- Carrying case(s) of wine to customer’s vehicle after purchase
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds (case of wine)
Salary Range: $22.05 - $26.95
The starting pay will be based on several factors, including but not limited to experience, training, education, and geographic location.
