Job Summary:

The Trade Marketing Intern will work on a research project focused on one of our key national retail accounts using numerous analytical and research tools, providing a detailed background and business overview of the account.  Based on insights, the intern will provide a recommendation on how to optimize our portfolio of brands for the chosen national account.  Additionally, the intern will get a broad range of experience assisting with additional trade marketing projects for the following teams: Trade Marketing Operations, National Accounts On-Premise and Export Sales.

The intern will report to the Director, Trade Marketing & Exclusive Brands.

 

Essential Functions:

•             Research project on key national account.

•             Assist with completing internal project submission forms to kick off new trade  marketing projects.

•             Assist with managing and updating exclusive brand assets on TAP, our internal asset sharing platform.

•             Develop new exclusive brand assets as needed.

•             Assist with additional trade marketing team projects as necessary.

•             Data reporting and analysis for key national accounts.

Qualifications:

•             Education: Currently enrolled at a college or university working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing.

•             Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills.

•             Strong computer skills with a high proficiency on Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

•             Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.

•             Strong analytical and mathematical skills.

 

Working Conditions:

•             Hybrid work environment; intern must be able to work at our Napa office location four days per week (Mon-Thurs) and work from home one day per week (Fri).

•             Extensive computer work.

•             Frequent deadline pressures.

•             Numerous projects in progress at any given time.

•             May be required to work some overtime hours.

•             Comply with company safety regulations.

Salary Range: $23.00 -  $28.00  

The starting pay will be based on several factors, including but not limited to experience, training, education, and geographic location.
