Job Summary:

This position will directly support a variety of projects related to the different Human Resources functional areas to include: compliance, recruiting, onboarding/orientation, compensation, training and development and employee relations in partnership with the HR team. 

 

Essential Functions:

  • Work on assigned HR project with a summer-end deliverable.
  • Support HR team through the recruiting process including screening resumes, scheduling interviews, sending offer letters and coordinate pre-employment activities.
  • Assist with onboarding new hires by entering data into HR systems and hosting orientation.
  • Assist with seasonal harvest (mass) recruitment activities.
  • Research and propose communication tools for HR to distribute information to workforce.
  • Work closely with the HR team to understand benefits, compensation, and payroll programs.
  • Support Training and Development initiatives
  • Develops and utilizes tools to evaluate existing processes and systems performance, taking initiative and driving continuous improvement.
  • Research best practices versus company current practices
  • Reviews existing work instructions for accuracy, relevancy and effectiveness.  Proposes changes/improvements as identified.
  • Data entry and analysis of HR related information using SuccessFactors Employee Central.
  • Provide general administrative support.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Currently enrolled at a college or university working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources
  • Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills
  • Bi-Lingual in Spanish required
  • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work with confidential information on a regular basis
  • Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Familiarity with HRIS and ATS
  • Basic understanding of labor laws

Salary Range: $21.05 -  $25.70  

The starting pay will be based on several factors, including but not limited to experience, training, education, and geographic location.
