The Fulfillment & Inventory Manager is a key member of the Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) team, responsible for overseeing order processing, inventory accuracy, and shipping operations to ensure an exceptional guest experience. This role requires strong communication skills, a service-oriented mindset, and the ability to manage complex logistics across multiple locations while maintaining efficiency, accuracy, and brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

Fulfillment Operations & Customer Experience

  • Oversee Direct Sales operations to ensure timely, accurate order processing and high standards of customer service.
  • Drive performance against key fulfillment KPIs, including order timeliness, error rates, and guest satisfaction.
  • Serve as a primary internal partner to the DTC team on shipping processes and fulfillment-related inquiries.

Daily Order Management & Shipping Optimization

  • Oversee and support the daily processing of all Direct Sales orders.
  • Monitor weather and external conditions to proactively adjust shipping methods and minimize delivery risk.
  • Track shipments proactively to prevent returns, redirects, and delivery failures.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce shipping costs while adhering to Marketing’s brand standards.

Inventory Management & Controls

  • Oversee and execute inventory processes, including weekly reconciliations across multiple locations.
  • Partner closely with Finance to track and reconcile all inventory movements.
  • Manages appropriate inventory levels at onsite, offsite, and third-party warehouses to support continuous order fulfillment.
  • Manage inbound and outbound inventory transfers, including order creation and receiving.

Leadership & Vendor Management

  • Supervise Direct Sales Team, providing direction, accountability, and day-to-day support.
  • Manage relationships with fulfillment-related vendors and service providers to ensure performance and cost efficiency.

Continuous Improvement & Compliance

  • Stay current on fulfillment, logistics, and inventory best practices through ongoing education and industry resources.
  • Take ownership of new initiatives, special projects, and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable quality, environmental, and safety regulations, and reinforce compliance among team members.
  • Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required, preferably in marketing
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory management (required).
  • Vendor management experience (preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to execute operational plans while supporting broader sales and revenue objectives.
  • Proven experience managing budgets and controlling costs.
  • Strong interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Analytical and critical-thinking capabilities with a high degree of intellectual curiosity.
  • Ability to work independently with a strong sense of urgency and sound decision-making skills.
  • Experience in the wine industry is a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and multitasking skills.

Salary Range: $70,304.00 -  $100,000.00  

The starting pay will be based on several factors, including but not limited to experience, training, education, and geographic location. TFE offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, PTO, wellness programs and fertility and family building benefits.   We also provide a 401(k) plan where TFE may make a discretionary profit-sharing contribution.
