Contract Designer for TFE Intranet Project

Job Summary:

Trinchero Family Estates (TFE) is searching for a freelance designer to redesign our employee intranet on the SharePoint Online platform. They will be responsible for redesigning the main page, as well as establishing a layout for each department’s home page. They will need to assess the current content and make recommendations on information architecture based on functionality, usage patterns, and mobile optimization. They will work with the cross-functional intranet team to deliver an aesthetically engaging and intuitive design that will ensure the TFE intranet delivers on the following key components:

  • Easily accessible forms, documents and paths to daily tasks (timecards, safety reports)
  • Delivery of standardized department landing page templates that organizes content for users both outside of and within the department
  • Communicate TFE company news and updates to engage users and build culture

Experience:

Required:

  • 7+ years experience design
  • Experience working on UX for intranets and dashboards
  • Working knowledge of graphic design, information design, information architecture, modern web design practices, typography, interaction design and aesthetics.
  • Hands-on experience creating wireframes and other website planning deliverables.
  • Working knowledge of accessibility best practices for digital experience
  • Working knowledge of user experience best practices
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Proven excellent interpersonal and communication skills: a team player
  • Working knowledge of front end development and responsive web design technologies HTML, CSS & JavaScript

Nice to have:

  • SharePoint Online: in O365 Modern Page customization
  • CSS, Javascript as applies to Modern Page customization
  • SharePoint Framework (SPFx)
  • Office UI Fabric Core
  • Familiar with SharePoint Patterns & Practice – PnP provisioning framework
