Job Summary

Responsible for directing the daily operation of the bottling packaging receiving areas and staff.

  • Supervise and direct daily work activities of Receiving Agents and Forklift Operators including the receiving, coordinating, and maintaining of packaging materials (bottles, caps, labels, etc.).  
  • Direct the purchase and inventory maintenance of packaging supplies, such as glue, stretch wrap, corner boards, pallets, etc.
  • Monitor quality and condition of packaging supplies being received, ensuring all quality standards are met; document material usage as appropriate.
  • Openly communicate with Line Captain, Rover and fellow production line employees to effectively stage and supply materials needed for production runs on all bottling lines or special projects.
  • Ensure that incoming trucks and staging of packaging material activities are scheduled and performed in such a way that do not interfere with production activities or with scheduled production.
  • Maintain neat and orderly work areas
  • Communicate to management any problems with packaging materials or supplies and/or any potential food safety problems or concerns.
  • Ensure that all bottling packaging receiving employees follow company policy, safety procedures including use of proper PPE (gloves, eye protection, seatbelts, etc.).
  • Responsible for understanding Quality Management System related activities, including food safety and quality policies, ISO standards, GMP’s, and Safe Quality Food (SQF) requirements.
  • Responsible for ensuring a safe working environment for employees and notifying Management and Safety Director of any potential safety issues.
  • Monitor the training and skill development of all Bottling Receiving Warehouse staff.
  • Responsible for emergency response actions (i.e., head counts, proper and appropriate evacuations from facilities).
  • Complete other projects as assigned.



  • Experience: 3 or more years of warehouse management experience in manufacturing environment, preferably food and/or beverage manufacturing.
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to accurately follow instructions and take direction and give direction as needed
  • Must be able to accurately carry out written and verbal instructions.
  • Must be able to work effectively in a highly controlled and system regulated environment.
  • Must be able to maintain effective relationships with other departments.
  • Must be able to operate a forklift.
  • Must have good communication skills.
  • Must be able to work in a safe, efficient, cooperative manner.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Must demonstrate effective attention to detail.
  • Ability to respond well to frequently changing production schedules and pressures.
  • Supervisory experience preferred or a demonstrated ability to lead.

Working Conditions:

  • Long and irregular hours may be required.
  • Must be able to work weekends and or overtime.
  • May require shift work
  • Standing for long periods of time (8 hours per day)
  • Moderate to heavy physical work. Must have the ability to lift at least 45 pounds
  • Potential exposure to cleaning agents and chemicals
  • Potential exposure to cold, wet, damp conditions
  • Concrete floors and extensive walking – production environment
  • Work site may be any one of Trinchero Family Estates’ facilities
