Maintenance Storeroom Coordinator - Facilities 1

Job Summary:

Under general direction, oversees all parts in the storeroom to ensure organization and minimum quantities are met. Receive, organize, and inventory all parts as it relates to maintenance for Westside Facilities Maintenance. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to optimize the storeroom to ensure it meets the needs of the facility.

  • Coordinate with Reliability Engineer and Maintenance Supervisors to ensuring parts and material inventory accuracy throughout planning and scheduling
  • Coordinate materials cycle counts and actual inventories versus system records
  • Provides feedback to management on accuracy levels, procedure problems and recommends corrective actions
  • Track parts usage by systematically enter information into CMMS for easy retrieval of parts history and costs
  • Responsible for storing and maintaining inventory levels
  • Develop CMMS-generated ad hoc or automated reports in support of maintenance administration using CMMS program, including inventory movement and inventory list
  • Give feedback to management on inventory accuracy levels and CMMS problems with corrective actions
  • Ensure Hazardous Materials storage and handling follows safety regulations
  • Work with fleet mechanics to procure parts and inventory for all automotive, air cooled, and miscellaneous equipment
  • Record all items received for departments in Westside facility and use CMMS to input necessary data of items going into Facilities Maintenance storeroom
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the storeroom and receiving area

Qualifications:

  • Experience: At least 5 years storeroom experience, specifically with inventory/parts management desirable
  • Education: Associates degree preferred
  • Knowledge of equipment parts and terminology required
  • Must be able to determine specific parts from cross sectional drawings
  • Familiarity with equipment manuals desirable
  • Must have good people skills and be able to communicate effectively
  • Verbal and written skills are required
  • Computer skills are required with experience in word processing and spreadsheets
  • Experience with ISO 9001 & SQF is a plus
  • Knowledge of industrial safety regulations is a plus

Working Conditions:

  • Regular working schedule to include weekends
  • Long and irregular hours may be required
  • Must be able to work any shift
  • Moderate to heavy physical work (putting away/retrieving parts, moving 5 gal. lubricants, supplying tools to mechanics, etc.)
  • Work site may be any one of Trinchero Family Estates’ facilities
  • Standing for long periods of time (8 hours per day)
  • Ability to lift at least 45 pounds
  • Concrete floors and extensive walking – production environment with limited A/C and heating
  • Stairs and ladder work required

 

Salary Range: $21.40 -  $32.10
