Job Summary:

The Human Resources Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to recruitment, hiring, benefits, and wellness functions. This role supports high‑volume recruiting efforts for seasonal employees, manages multiple administrative processes, and serves as a key point of contact for applicants and employees. The position is a 6 month temporary assignment that requires strong organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and a high level of professionalism, and customer service are essential.

Employment

  • Provide administrative support to the HR Recruitment Team and primarily assisting with Harvest hiring and seasonal recruitment efforts
  • Coordinate seasonal and harvest recruitment activities and hiring logistics for Lodi, St. Helena and Paso Robles locations
  • Review applications, screen resumes, and route qualified candidates for supervisor review
  • Coordinate and attend local job fairs to support and expand recruitment outreach efforts
  • Conduct phone screens, interviews, and schedule manager interviews
  • Post and manage internal and external job openings, and maintain on external job boards for sourcing candidates
  • Coordinate pre‑employment processes, including background checks and exams
  • Support hiring managers with offer letters and support new hire processes
  • Serve as an effective liaison between candidates, hiring managers, and support teams to ensure efficient communication
  • Maintain recruitment files and employment records
  • Ensure accuracy of employee data and compliance of I‑9 requirements
  • Assist with New Hire Orientation preparation and logistics
  • Demonstrate adaptability in responding to urgent requests and tasks
  • Handle confidential and time‑sensitive information with discretion

 

 

General Administration

  • Assist with translations / mailings
  • Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys etc.) and take meeting minute notes
  • Provide administrative support to the Human Resources department
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate’s degree in human resources or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Years of Experience: Minimum of two or more years of Human Resources Administration experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; HRIS experience preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
  •  Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage changing priorities
  • Demonstrated reliability, flexibility, teamwork, and strong work ethic
  • Working knowledge of recruitment, selection, training, compensation, benefits, and employment law
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred

 

Working Conditions:

  • Office environment with extensive computer use
  • May be required to work at any of Trinchero’ s locations (Lodi, CA or St. Helena, CA)
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel to other locations to support hiring needs, including Lodi, St. Helena, and Paso Robles
  • Frequent deadline and multiple concurrent projects
  • Must comply with company safety regulations

Salary Range: $23.05 -  $25.00  

The starting pay will be based on several factors, including but not limited to experience, training, education, and geographic location.
