Job Summary:

Assist with the repair and maintenance of all Trinchero Family Estates company owned and leased vehicles, trucks, utility carts, ATV’s, air cooled equipment, bicycles and trailers.

Essential Functions:

  • Performs regular services, diagnosis, repairs and maintenance on a wide variety of vehicles and mobile equipment. To include but not limited to: Carts, passenger cars, SUV’s, Pick-up trucks, tractors, dump trucks and flatbed trucks.
  • Keeps records of repairs made, expenses, and materials used.
  • Highly proficient in both gas and diesel applications.
  • Proficient in hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Proficient in engines, transmissions, drivelines and clutches, cooling, heating and air conditioning, steering, suspension, brakes, fuel, exhaust, emissions systems and vehicle electronics diagnostics.
  • Proficient in machining that includes lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts.
  • Performs other maintenance duties in support of the maintenance team as assigned.
  • Maintaining clean and safe shop tools and work area.
  • Perform simple, rudimentary tasks unsupervised
  • Can complete simple PM work orders independently and complex PM Work Orders under guidance of Maintenance Lead
  • Demonstrates ability to follow all safety protocols (lock-out-tag-out, Personal Protective Equipment, etc.)
  • Safe use of company power lift equipment (man-lift, forklift, golf carts)
  • Hazardous waste awareness and environmental awareness
  • Responsible for understanding the Food Safety and Quality Management System and related activities, including the SQF Food Safety & Quality Policy

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma. Technical school; and/or three to five years related experience in the field.
  • Years of Experience: 3 to 5 years mechanical related experience or equivalent
  • Knowledge of the techniques and methods involved in determining & solving mechanical problems
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and organize projects
  • Ability to work independently and as a member a team
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
  • Valid CA driver’s license.

 

Working Conditions:

  • Moderate to heavy physical work 
  • Work site may be any one of Trinchero Family Estates’ facilities
  • Standing for long periods of time (8 hours per day)
  • Must comply with all safety equipment requirements including ear plugs and safety glasses
  • Exposure to various chemicals in production areas
  • Exposure to machinery, forklifts and related production equipment
  • Long and irregular hours during peak periods or on various shifts
  • Depending on production efficiencies, weekend work will be required. 
  • Extensive walking and lifting of up to 50 pounds

Salary Range: $22.90 -  $34.35
