Bottling Maintenance Engineering Intern

Job Summary:

Trinchero Family Estates employs multiple complex processes and systems that are required to support business objectives. A continuous improvement culture and philosophy requires resources to monitor, measure, analyze and improve these processes and systems. An Internship in the Facilities Maintenance Department will be highly engaged in these efforts.

Essential Functions:

  • Develops and utilizes tools to evaluate existing processes and systems performance, taking initiative and driving continuous process improvement
  • Benchmark maintenance best practices procedures versus department current practices
  • Reviews existing Maintenance Computerize Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for accuracy, relevancy and effectiveness. Proposes changes/improvements as identified
  • Analyze data to assess, improve accuracy, and troubleshoot
  • Collates and summarizes results of equipment and process assessments, presents findings to TFE Leadership, along with recommended solutions
  • Assist in Maintenance Parts and Equipment inventory storeroom set-up and data entry.  Establish new TFE equipment identification numbers and physical locations of storeroom parts and equipment.
  • Prepare, assemble and distribute various daily, monthly and annual maintenance reports including Key Performance Indicators
  • Review Equipment Manuals for accuracy and spare parts inventory.
  • General administrative support
  • Evaluate opportunity for cost savings through outsourcing OEM replacement parts
  • Create drawings and work with vendors to manufacture replacement parts

 

Qualifications:

  • At least a Junior standing at a 4 year Engineering Major
  • Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Ability to work with confidential information on a regular basis
  • Ability to perform basic clerical functions and operate basic office machines
  • Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills
  • Fluent with SolidWorks CAD software

Working Conditions:

  • Moderate to heavy physical work
  • Standing for long periods of time (8 hours per day)
  • Must comply with all safety equipment requirements including ear plugs and safety glasses
  • Exposure to various chemicals in production areas
  • Exposure to machinery, forklifts and related production equipment
  • Extensive walking and lifting of up to 55 pounds
