Job Summary:
Under the direction of leadership, the role focuses on business effectiveness projects in support of Vineyard’s Strategic Goals. The intern will play a key role in developing, documenting, and formalizing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and developing quality control protocols in a vineyard operational setting under the direction of vineyard department leaders.

- Collaborate with vineyard management and team members to identify, document, and formalize Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for critical vineyard tasks and processes.
- Develop and refine quality control protocols to ensure consistency, compliance, and excellence in vineyard operations.
- Conduct process observations in the vineyard to analyze workflows and gather data for process improvements.
- Assist in compiling and organizing existing documentation into a comprehensive and accessible library of SOPs.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that SOPs align with vineyard safety, quality, and operational standards.
- Participate in field inspections and learn to identify quality indicators in a vineyard setting.
- Present findings and recommendations for SOP improvements and quality control measures to the Vineyard leadership team.
- Support other business effectiveness projects as assigned, contributing to the Vineyard's broader strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Education: Currently enrolled at a college or university working towards a bachelor’s degree preferably in Agriculture, viticulture, Ag Business, or a related field.
- Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Ability to work with confidential information on a regular basis
- Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks concurrently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to present solutions clearly and concisely
Working Conditions:

- May be required to work at any of TFE's locations

This role can be flexible in its work location Main Street or Circle K. The internship will be based in a vineyard setting, with a combination of fieldwork & office-based tasks. Reliable transportation is required.
Salary Range: $22.00 - $27.00
The starting pay will be based on several factors, including but not limited to experience, training, education, and geographic location.
