Job Summary:
Amazing opportunity to join the second largest family-owned winery in the world, Trinchero Family The Senior National Accounts Manager is responsible for leading strategic growth and execution across key National Accounts within the on-premise channel. This role drives national business initiatives, develops long-term customer partnerships, and collaborates cross-functionally to deliver against Trinchero Family Estates’ annual volume, revenue, and brand objectives.
As a highly self-directed and motivated professional, the Senior National Accounts Manager operates with a strong sense of ownership and accountability, requiring minimal day-to-day management while consistently delivering best-in-class execution, innovation, and results. This individual serves as a strategic thought partner, mentor, and leader, influencing both internal and external teams to achieve success.

- Lead and Inspire: Build respectful, collaborative relationships and promote an environment of trust, accountability, and open communication. Serve as a role model and mentor for the broader National Accounts team.
- Self-Directed Leadership: Operate independently with minimal oversight—demonstrating strong decision-making skills, follow-through, and a sense of urgency to achieve company goals.
- Strategic Business Planning: Develop and execute annual business plans for assigned accounts that align with TFE strategic objectives, brand priorities, and financial goals.
- Customer Development: Cultivate long-term relationships with key decision-makers to grow distribution, menu features, and promotional programs that deliver mutual profitability.
- National Program Execution: Lead the communication, activation, and evaluation of national programs across markets—ensuring flawless execution through distributor and field sales partners.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Brand Marketing, Trade Marketing, Commercial Strategy, and Field Sales to build integrated customer solutions that enhance brand performance.
- Market Insights & Analytics: Analyze category trends, pricing architecture, and consumer behavior to identify new opportunities and proactively adjust strategies.
- Distributor Leadership: Influence and align wholesaler priorities to ensure execution excellence, pricing consistency, and compliance with national programming.
- Performance Management: Monitor KPIs and business metrics; provide clear reporting, performance recaps, and actionable insights to leadership.
- Innovation & Capability Building: Collaborate with VP of Trade Marketing and Commercial Strategy to evolve tools, systems, and processes that enhance the team’s effectiveness.
- Ambassadorship: Represent TFE with professionalism and passion at customer meetings, industry events, and community engagements consistent with company values.

- Time Allocation:
- 60% Strategic Account Leadership & Business Development
- 25% Distributor, 3rd Party Management and Activation & Field Collaboration
- 15% Data Analysis, Planning & Reporting
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of progressive sales experience within the wine, spirits, or CPG industries within the National Accounts On-Premise Channel.
- Proven track record of managing large national or multi-unit chain accounts and delivering against ambitious sales and distribution goals.
- Demonstrated success influencing distributor networks and leading cross-functional execution.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and results-oriented with the ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple priorities.
- Demonstrates strong personal accountability and ownership of business results, with little need for day-to-day supervision.
- Exceptional leadership, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Advanced proficiency in data-driven tools (VIP, KARMA, Power BI, DataEssentials, WineQuest).
- Strategic thinker with operational discipline and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication; polished presentation skills.
- Deep understanding of national account structures, pricing strategy, and category management principles.
- Other Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
- Knowledge of state and federal alcohol regulations.
Working Conditions:
- Frequent travel, both by car and air
- Ability to lift at least 45 pounds (case of wine)
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and extended hours as required for events or business needs.
- Moderate to heavy physical work (moving wine cases and retail supplies, setting up for special events)
Salary Range: $125,000.00 - $155,000.00
The starting pay will be based on several factors, including but not limited to experience, training, education, and geographic location. TFE offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, PTO, wellness programs and fertility and family building benefits. We also provide a 401(k) plan where TFE may make a discretionary profit-sharing contribution.
