Job Summary:

The Retail Analytics Manager is an experienced analytics professional and strategic thinker whom will be responsible for providing reporting, analytics and insights support for National Retail Chains. Requires a self-motivated, entrepreneurial approach while also possessing strong commitment to team environment dynamics and collaboration across multiple departments.  The position will increase the utilization of our existing data, analytic tools & systems and will support the evolution of future analytic capabilities at TFE to build brands, grow sales and achieve company goals.

  • Responsible for leading efforts to provide data-driven presentations with insights, opportunities and recommendations that help deliver company sales plan
  • Integrates information from multiple data sources, interprets into key insights, and proactively communicates clear and actionable recommendations to drive growth
  • Manages the timely and accurate communication of key business reports to Sales Leads while working to identify opportunities to improve efficiency
  • Manages advanced custom analytics projects with internal partners to measure the effectiveness of sales and marketing activities and provides recommendations to improve performance
  • Manages relationships with distributor partners effectively, and explores, evaluates, and recommends new approaches to the business
  • Evaluate current reports and create new tools needed by the Sales team for understanding performance trends and opportunities with their business


  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Years of Experience: 3+ years of relevant business experience required, with a focus on business analytics. Beverage alcohol industry experience preferred
  • Expert computer skills are required; strength in Excel, PowerPoint, multi-dimensional tables, Microsoft BI and ability to report, graph and present complex information
  • Expert in Nielsen scan data, Proprietary customer databases (Retail Link, Market6, MerchIQ), distributor shipment, depletion, inventory and household panel data
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills with the ability to translate data into insights and clear actionable recommendations to influence business strategy
  • Self-motivated, self-starting, entrepreneurial approach while also possessing strong commitment to team environment dynamics
  • Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong understanding of how analytics impact sales effectiveness and business strategy
  • Understands the CPG industry, retail and on-premise channels and strategies, category management, brand and shopper marketing concepts
  • Strong project management skills and ability to plan and prioritize work effectively in a fast- paced environment
  • Solid business acumen and problem-solving skills.  Commitment to quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement are essential. Must be highly organized
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  Creativity in sales stories
